This charming ceramic vase hails from Puglia and dates back to the early 1900s. The antique vasetto features a wonderful hand crafted form with scalloped ‘handle’ detailing around the top half. Traditionally, it would have been used as confit pot, for storing and conserving seasonal vegetables in olive oil. The unique rustic vessel is glazed internally and its surface left raw externally.
