A charming hand painted plate that is typical of southern Italian ceramics. Dating back to the late 1800s, the large antique plate features a graphic decoration that renders it quite ‘contemporary’ in design. The hand thrown piece originates from Castelli - a town in Abruzzo whose ceramic art has ancient origins and became one of the most renowned centres for artistic pottery by the 16th century.
