€90.00
Sold

A vivaciously glazed vintage plant pot originating from the the southern Italian region of Calabria. The ceramic planter features the distinct mustardy yellow glaze and scalloped edging characteristic of Seminara, a town known for its age-old ceramic tradition. What makes this piece particularly unique is the green flecks creating a one of a kind effect. The hand thrown ceramic plant pot is unglazed internally with a hole at the bottom for drainage. The vessel also comes with a matching, smaller planter as seen in the images, and together would make a charming display, both indoors or out.

Found in Seminara

the Calabrese town known for its age-old ceramic tradition.

Dimensions: H18cm x W19cm x D19cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration.
