The themes favoured by the artist are urban and landscape views, and this white sketch on a flecked paper depicts the ‘blacksmith’s entrance’ in his native Trieste. This unique piece has been found in Lecce as part of a collection from a former gallery owner including lithographs and prints from various artists.
