Set of x2 Vintage Side Plates by C.A.S. Vietri
A set of 2 scalloped edge plates with distinctive hand painted floral design created by C.A.S. - Ceramiche Artistica Solimene from Vietri Italy, a small town on the Amalfi coast known for its age old ceramic tradition. These unique, hand crafted crescent shaped plates feature a scalloped edge, floral motif and plum and turquoise glaze typical of ceramics from Vietri. The two vintage ceramic plates date back to the 1940s/50s with the C.A.S. brand seen on the underside, along with a batch number. These charming side plates would make a lovely addition to a table setting especially when pared with the matching Vietri ceramic plates as seen in the photos.
