This extra large plant pot dates back to the mid 1800s and hails from Puglia in southern Italy. A particularly rare find, the uniquely shaped vessel features a magical patina with an eroded pastel green glaze that gives this piece its mesmerising allure. The hand crafted ceramic plant pot also has a distinctive sgraffito/etched pattern all around the body that adds to its infinite charm. The antique plant pot with its elongated form and fluted opening features a hole at the bottom of the vessel for drainage. It has that well aged patina that can only be brought about authentically from years of daily use, the passing of time and exposure to the elements. This truly impressive plant pot is the perfect statement piece to add some of that rustic Mediterranean charm to any space, indoors or out.
