Vintage Floral Plate & Bowl Set
A vintage plate and bowl set with a charmingly hand painted floral design. These mid-century design pieces are typical of Eastern European ceramics from the Austro-Hungarian legacy and can be associated to the Corund mark, traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, and found throughout the Mediterranean. The vintage plate and bowl feature a unique floral and foliage design in varying shades of green, blue, orange and ochre brown, set against the cream base. The hand thrown plate also features a hole and cord at the back as seen in the photos, enabling the plate to be wall mounted or hung for display. Also available with matching bowls, plates and jug, in various designs as seen in the images, that work well together and would create an impressive and eclectic table setting.
