A large sculptural vintage plant pot hand crafted from terracotta and dating back to the 1950s. Made by Va-Tre (Vaserie Trevigiane) a northern Italian company known for producing terracotta and ceramic pottery. The rustic unglazed vessel has a wonderful rounded form with a lip in an earthy red-hued terracotta. The hand thrown planter has a charming, well-aged rustic patina brought about authentically by years of daily use and the passing of time. It would be the perfect addition to any home, indoors or outdoors, adding that unique southern Italian farmhouse charm to any space. The mid-century plant pot has a hole at the bottom for drainage and has the makers mark on one side. Also available is a matching plant pot as seen in the images.
