Vintage 'Vino del Contadino' Wine Flask
This wonderfully hand made and hand painted vintage wine flask is unique with its ‘Vino del Contadino’ (or Farmer’s Wine) etched into the body. The hand thrown terracotta piece has a lovely patina in its earthy olive green and spirited decorative glaze of pistachio mixed with ivory. A pleasure to hold, the robust form has two handles and a stopper which is stamped, as seen in the images. With a dynamic character to the wine bottle, it would be simply lovely as a decorative display piece.
