x2 Vintage Swirl Glaze Bowls

€50.00
Sold

A unique set of x2 bowls with a hand decorated drip glaze pattern reminiscent of psychedelic ‘60s design. These vintage bowls are typical of Eastern European ceramics (from the Austro-Hungarian legacy), and found throughout the Mediterranean. The mid-century ceramics have an energetic linear design in green, orange, blue and ochre brown. With no stamp at the bottom, the vintage bowls can be associated with the Corund pottery makers, traditional ceramics from the Transylvania region of Romania/Hungary, The vintage bowls would make wonderful serving dishes at aperitivo hour and would create an impactful table setting when paired with the matching bowls and plates, available online.

Found in Lecce

the capital and baroque jewel of the Salento.

Dimensions: Large Bowl H6cm x W16.5cm x D16.5cm / Small Bowl H5cm x W13cm x D13cm

These are handmade antique ceramics that are perfectly imperfect and some have been used for generations, so please expect some cracks, and chips, and discolouration. These individual characteristics are part of the charm and unique quality of each piece. Please note, colour may vary from screen to screen.
